Telmark is built by seasoned telesales and marketing professionals who see a need to change the way telesales works to take advantage of the shift in mindset and technology that has changed the way people communicate and make business decisions. We create an environment of balanced collaboration and independence, where work is focused on measurable results.
The original Telmark Sales, Inc., was launched in 1988, with a focus on direct and retail telesales for CPG firms. When Telmark was sold in 2002, the original business had grown from 10 to 600 associates launching programs for over 50 CPG clients, including Colgate, Kimberly Clark and Clorox. Dan stayed on to lead the new firm, until leaving to open today's Telmark Sales Solutions in 2014.
Dan leads Telmark with a keen ability to generate enthusiasm and drive. Whether working with new clients to build aggressive growth plans, or recruiting new sales teams, his people skills are his super power! As his dream for the new Telmark becomes a growing reality, Dan focuses on partnering with companies ready for a sales boost and fresh approach, then finding entrepreneurial people to join the team.
Kay came to Telmark soon after it opened, joining Dan and Holly Wells as employee number three. With her experience leading teams through complex projects in the ever-changing CPG and B2B marketing world, she has an unflappable style managing the day-to-day bustle of Telmark. Her background in technology and communications combine to lead the sales teams and marketing efforts, building the systems and messaging that are the backbone of our work.
Kay loves spreadsheets and process plans, setting goals and working with our business directors in mapping the way to get to them. Our teams rely on Kay to guide them to reach their goals and overcome challenges. When starting new programs, Kay distills the complexity down for smooth launches. When adding new associates, Kay looks for people with diverse skills and experiences Telmark may not have yet, enriching our teams with their differences.
To put it simply, we respect everyone we work with for who they are, and strive to treat everyone equitably. We work every day to share our best and true selves. Understanding and respecting differences in each other and in the clients we work for makes us better sales people. We are proud to have been named Wisconsin’s Business of the Year 2019 by the WI LGBT Chamber of Commerce for our efforts to support our community.
